Maintenance Engineer / Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer / Technician to join our team in Canterbury. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Production / Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer to step into a role where you can upskill yourself through regular training and courses. You will assist the team with the overall maintenance on the site, minimizing breakdowns through planned and pre-emptive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance and Breakdown: Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
  2. Assist with PPM: As the team grows, you will assist with planned maintenance activities to ensure the site runs efficiently.
  3. 4 on 4 off Rotating Shifts: Work a 4-day on, 4-day off rotating shift pattern, including days and nights (7am - 7pm).
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

60-70% Electrical experience with some Mechanical knowledge.Ability to fault find using PLC.A long-term career commitment.
