Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and high-performing professional to play a critical role in building up our Global Immigration Engagement Management Team capabilities. This role will ensure our future success as a Global Immigration practice and wider KPMG Delivery Network. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring ongoing client satisfaction by providing a seamless global coordination experience.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- Coordinating client relations and day-to-day management of the engagement with the Lead Member Firm
- Managing complex matters, including client escalations and service delivery issues
- Agreeing, setting, and enforcing engagement management service standards
- Ensuring consistent roll-out of initiatives
- Spotting and acting on internal vs. external message inconsistency
- Maintaining top technical and service standards
- Maintaining top engagement set-up and end processes
- Overseeing continuous development of tools
- Demonstrably striving for efficiencies
- Constantly reviewing, reforming, and implementing best practices and processes
- Ensuring continuous focus on key initiatives that drive quality and achieve operational excellence through standardization, centralization, automation, and innovation
- Providing oversight support to the Global Delivery Center with regards to engagement processes
- Monitoring the Global Coordination and Billing Model and suggesting process and technology improvements
- Leading discussions related to technical enhancements
- Ability to identify issues and use critical thinking to identify and present viable options for the business
- Managing team activities to ensure compliance with KPMG risk management policies and procedures
Talent Management and Relationships
The Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- Identifying, highlighting, and nurturing talent
- Helping promote team morale and competitiveness
- Headcount and skills mix: consulting, setting, and monitoring
- Conducting experienced hire recruiting
- Able to manage people located in different KDN locations
Network and Market
The Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- Agreeing and driving customer service ethos in KPMG
- Keeping the network informed of our progress
- Presenting KDN services to country leaders and targeted offices
- Maintaining an active market presence
- Participating in new RFPs and client pursuits
Learning
The Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and deploying standard training in regards to client requirements, global processes, and technology use
- Spreading awareness, coaching, and assisting teams and local offices
Transformation
The Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- Devising, promoting Coordination and Billing workstream agenda
- Establishing and keeping relations with KPMG network
- Linking together Tech, GET/GPM, Core, Markets, Transition, Compensation workstreams
- Supporting the Global Immigration Solution Owner on the creation of the future global immigration model
PMO
The Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- Ensuring internal and external projects are managed to the highest standards
- Able to discuss client projects and take forward next steps for the timely completion of each request
- Able to monitor and guide multiple teams based in different locations
Finance
The Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- Contributing to budget discussions
- Liaising with the billing team to ensure timely client billing and overseeing inter-firm reconciliation process
- Reviewing and approving monthly finances based on the support provided to each engagement
- Preparing and analyzing annual finance reports for KDN services
- Monitoring chargeable hours and utilization of the team
- Ensuring MFEs and risk process for the work are completed
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience of relevant experience on immigration and coordination of global clients
- Significant analytical skillset
- Experience of working with internal and external senior stakeholders
- Self-starter that is able to collaborate and execute on priority goals and vision
- Strong quantitative abilities
- Able to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build new relationships and leverage existing relationships within KPMG
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in supporting and managing a global team in a virtual environment
- Strong operational and strategic global immigration experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects in a demanding environment
