COMPANY OVERVIEW
Cameron Kennedy is a prominent player in the investment management sector, managing assets exceeding $350 billion across various global financial hubs. This role is essential within the expansive finance team, which emphasizes a collaborative and professional atmosphere. The newly established position is crucial for overseeing the revenue function, ensuring both daily operations and strategic initiatives are executed effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Revenue Accounting Manager will report directly to the Director of Global Revenue and will be responsible for:
- Leading the global mandates team to establish relationships with client-facing units, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of financial arrangements and their profitability impact.
- Managing a worldwide team to guarantee accurate accrual of mandate revenue and rebates.
- Overseeing the timely issuance of invoices to clients.
- Handling all debtor accounts and forecasting cash flow.
- Driving enhancements in processes and reporting mechanisms.
SUPPORTING THE DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL REVENUE
This role also involves:
- Ensuring high-quality month-end and quarterly reporting, with insightful analysis and adherence to compliance standards.
- Strategically onboarding newly acquired entities.
- Acting as a deputy or assuming additional responsibilities as necessary.
LEGAL ENTITY CONTROL
The Senior Revenue Accounting Manager will lead the legal entity control function for UK investment management entities.
FINANCE TRANSFORMATION SUPPORT
In support of finance transformation initiatives, the role includes:
- Assessing current and future finance activities.
- Documenting current state assessments and identifying gaps in processes, technology, and controls.
- Developing future state process maps and documenting key design decisions.
- Collaborating with process owners to identify and resolve issues during the transformation process.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
