About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Ensure that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.
  • Assist patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant (Qualifications required to accompany individuals with 6-12 months experience).
  • Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements, studying towards a Mental Health Nursing degree.
