We are a dynamic manufacturing company seeking a highly skilled and motivated Health and Safety and Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all processes.
- Utilize your engineering skills to optimize production and ensure successful assemblies.
- Maintain and enhance our health & safety systems, ensuring compliance and reducing risks.
- Manage international procurement, particularly from China, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality parts.
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering qualification (Degree or Apprenticeship)
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Health & Safety
- Procurement expertise, particularly in dealing with suppliers from overseas.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and safety
What We Offer
- Competitive salary of between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and ability.
- 25 days of holiday plus statutory public holidays.
