Senior Data Engineer, Global Streaming

NBCUniversal is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Direct-to-Consumer Decision Sciences team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a connected data ecosystem that leverages our streaming data to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines to facilitate deeper analysis and reporting by the business.
- Design and implement data processing systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and streams.
- Develop and champion best practices to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Operationalize data processing systems to ensure scalability and performance.
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on streaming data.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
- Knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam, Apache Flink, and Apache Spark.
- Experience with data storage solutions such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and Google BigTable.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines and data processing systems.
- Strong Test-Driven Development background.
- Experience with large-scale video assets.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and disciplines.
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach.
