About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our Project & Programme Services team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality building surveying services to our clients, working on a range of projects across different sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide building surveying services, including feasibility studies, specifications, estimates, and contract administration.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage and mentor junior Building Surveyors, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
- Contribute to the development of project proposals and bids, working closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with other teams, including engineering and project management, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
- B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar degree accredited by RICS.
- Chartered status essential/highly desirable.
- Significant building surveying experience, with a strong understanding of building surveying professional services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
