Consultant in Pain Medicine – Dorset Pain Management Service

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Pain Medicine to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing medical aspects of pain management in our Dorset Pain Management Service (DPMS).
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective pain management strategies
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in pain medicine to our multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements and innovations
- Participate in education and training activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team
- General medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) and a Licence to Practise
- Membership of the Royal College of Anaesthetics or recognised equivalent
- Experience in pain medicine and a strong understanding of the biopsychosocial approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
