About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at The Sheffield College. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, helping them to overcome barriers and access quality education.
  • Work closely with teachers and tutorial mentors to ensure students receive tailored support and guidance.
  • Monitor students' progress and development, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance their learning experience.
  • Support students during break and lunchtimes, as well as welcoming them into college each morning and assisting with transportation at the end of the day.
