Assistant Management Accountant Role

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their established and successful business. The successful candidate will directly support the Finance Manager, assisting with the preparation of management accounts and month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Complete monthly intercompany reconciliations
  2. Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation and reconciliation of monthly prepayments and accruals
  3. Support month-end closing and reporting
  4. Assist with bank reconciliations
  5. Support monthly financing journals and reconciliations
  6. Collaborate with accounts payable and receivable teams on processing invoices and reconciliations
Requirements:
  1. Relevant experience in a similar role, including solid experience with accruals and prepayments
  2. Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with other departments
  3. Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
  4. Excellent IT skills with good Excel capabilities
