Our client, a leading manufacturer of bespoke products, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their close-knit team. With a strong order book and growth into various export markets, this is an exciting opportunity to drive positive change and manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day production activities across the production site, managing the process from start to finish.
- Monitor quality, safety, and overall standards of the production department to ensure the end product meets the highest standards.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process improvement, and utilise LEAN manufacturing tools to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Generate production and KPI reports to senior management, providing insights into performance and areas for improvement.
- Liaise with the design and production team to launch new products to the industry, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
- Engineering-related discipline.
- Proven experience in a management role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong health and safety knowledge and high-quality control standards.
- Strong understanding of MRP or ERP software systems in manufacturing environments.
- Salary: £45,000 - £50,000.
- 40hr week, early finish Friday.
