We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Care First UK Recruitment Solutions. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing a budget, ordering food items, and creating menus that cater to a variety of dietary requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a care home, nursery, hospital, or school setting, with a strong understanding of IDDSI management of food consistency. You will be responsible for traditional home-style cooking, managing a team, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a budget and order food items
  • Create menus that cater to a variety of dietary requirements
  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards
  • Manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served safely and hygienically

Requirements:

  • Experience in a care home, nursery, hospital, or school setting
  • Strong understanding of IDDSI management of food consistency
  • Ability to manage a budget and order food items
  • Excellent cooking and menu planning skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff
