Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Draughtsman to join our client's design team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will assist in the creation of engineering drawings and documentation for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Download and process design tasks from the task queue
  • Develop proposals and job specifications
  • Conduct cross-checks of designs with relevant regulations
  • Design and test products through hand calculations
  • Create and finalize design documentation
  • Collaborate with other design engineers to develop engineering drawings
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design and draughting, as well as proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks and IES. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also essential.

What We Offer

Our client offers a competitive hourly rate of £30-£35 per hour, with a minimum contract duration of 3 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Design Draughtsman to gain experience and contribute to a dynamic design team.
