Overview of the Position
Part-Time Role: 27.5 hours per week for 38 weeks annually
We are looking for a dedicated Culinary Support Specialist to collaborate with the Chef Manager in overseeing the student café operations, ensuring high-quality service, assisting in food preparation, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and efficient service to customers, consistently exceeding their expectations.
- Support the Chef Manager in the preparation of meals and snacks.
- Manage the stocking and cleaning of vending machines.
- Operate an EPOS system for transactions.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all café and cooking areas, including dishwashing and equipment cleaning.
- Perform additional duties as required, appropriate to the role.

- Demonstrates patience and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Possesses strong customer service skills.
- Works effectively as part of a team.
