Overview of the Position

Part-Time Role: 27.5 hours per week for 38 weeks annually

We are looking for a dedicated Culinary Support Specialist to collaborate with the Chef Manager in overseeing the student café operations, ensuring high-quality service, assisting in food preparation, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt and efficient service to customers, consistently exceeding their expectations.
  • Support the Chef Manager in the preparation of meals and snacks.
  • Manage the stocking and cleaning of vending machines.
  • Operate an EPOS system for transactions.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all café and cooking areas, including dishwashing and equipment cleaning.
  • Perform additional duties as required, appropriate to the role.
