Job Title: HSE Manager

Staircraft, a leading manufacturer of stairs, floors, mouldings, and door kits, is seeking a highly skilled HSE Manager to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading the development of the company's health and safety culture across their four factory sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain oversight of the company's Health and Safety Improvement Plan in collaboration with the Operations Director.
  • Constructively challenge and support the leadership team to ensure health and safety matters are always a priority.
  • Develop the Operations Managers to improve their safety leadership capabilities and support them in training their teams.
  • Work closely with the HR Manager to ensure occupational health surveillance regimes are in place and effective.
  • Oversight of Staircraft's achievement of environmental discharge permits and management of the business's environmental management system.
  • Line manage the HSE Advisor and support their development.
  • Support with risk assessments, audits, training, and incident investigations.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH NGC (minimum)
  • Membership of IOSH
  • Ideal environmental qualification and hands-on experience
  • 3+ years in a safety role in manufacturing
