About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance lawyer with a strong background in Project Finance to join our team as a Senior Specialist Legal Editor in the UK.

As a Senior Specialist Legal Editor, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality content for our online platform, Practical Law. You will work closely with our team of experienced colleagues to develop and maintain a wide range of content, including practice notes, current awareness, and standard documents.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating well-written, up-to-date content that reflects current law and practice.
  • Commissioning, reviewing, and editing content written internally and externally.
  • Maintaining all content to ensure it is up-to-date and meets business objectives and customer needs.
  • Developing relationships with third parties to obtain contributions of content or improve content through third-party insights.

In addition to this, you will assist with developing and marketing our Practical Law Finance practice area.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Substantial post-qualification experience as a lawyer specialising in Finance law, particularly Project Finance.
  • A demonstrable interest and ability in writing with excellent attention to detail.
  • In-house experience in one or more financial institutions.
