About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our established Residential Team at Bay View on a casual basis. The successful candidate will work in one of our family-friendly children's homes, providing a safe, secure, and homely environment for young people with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality childcare and support to young people, exceeding National Standards and Ofsted requirements.
  • To contribute to the development of individualized care plans and ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • To build and maintain positive relationships with young people, families, and external partners.
  • To contribute to a culture of trust and mutual respect within the home.
  • To ensure the home is kept clean, tidy, safe, and secure at all times.
  • To actively supervise and engage with young people, promoting their well-being and personal growth.
  • To manage and de-escalate conflicts, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals.
  • To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • To participate in activities with young people, promoting their development and well-being.
  • To contribute to reviews and assessments of young people's progress.
Requirements
  • A Diploma Level in Working with Children & Young People.
  • Over years of age.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
