Job Overview

DGH Recruitment is seeking a skilled Oracle Database Tester to join a large programme of work for 6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for manually testing complex, high-volume applications using the latest Oracle technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify test scenarios and develop comprehensive testing plans
  • Write and execute test scripts to ensure data integrity and system functionality
  • Create and manage test data to simulate real-world scenarios
  • Undertake thorough testing, including system testing, UAT, and performance testing
  • Log and report errors, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues
  • Utilize expertise in manual testing on Oracle databases, with a focus on data-driven testing

Requirements

  • Proven experience in manual testing on Oracle databases
  • Strong understanding of Oracle technologies and data management principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

About the Role

This is a 3-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a large-scale programme, utilizing their expertise in Oracle database testing to drive business outcomes.
