We are seeking skilled Maintenance Engineers (Plumbing/Mechanical) to join our team at the University of East Anglia (UEA). As a key member of our Estates and Facilities Directorate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out operational support, conducting maintenance inspections, and ensuring compliance with statutory legislation. You will work closely with our Maintenance Team to identify and resolve issues, and contribute to the development of maintenance plans and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing and mechanical repairs
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Team to resolve issues and improve maintenance processes
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation
  • Provide excellent customer service to UEA staff and students
