Your Role:

In this position, you will facilitate therapeutic group sessions aimed at enhancing speech and communication skills for individuals with complex needs. By establishing meaningful one-on-one connections with service users, you will foster engagement and support their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated caseload, utilizing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and evaluate outcomes in alignment with personalized care plans.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in handling intricate cases, addressing cultural and linguistic variations, and implementing effective strategies for caseload management.
  • Participate in audits and contribute to research initiatives related to treatment provision.
  • Possess specialized knowledge in areas such as acquired communication and swallowing disorders.

Essential Qualifications:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Experience in managing a caseload that includes assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
  • Background in collaborating with families.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
