Exciting Opportunity for a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to adults of working age in East Grinstead and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with other services in the local area, including the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team, the Liaison team, and acute in-patient services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure comprehensive and person-centered care.
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement programmes to drive excellence in patient care.
About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to peer support from colleagues and the opportunity to join the Trust-wide consultant network. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of areas, including research, development, medical education, and special interests.

Requirements
  • Approved clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Excellent knowledge in specialty.
  • Active participation in clinical audit and quality improvement programmes.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
  • MRCPsych.
  • In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
  • Wide range of specialist and sub-specialist experience relevant to post within NHS or comparable service.
