Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Engineer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing maintenance on automated production machinery
  • Improving preventative maintenance routines
  • Managing mechanical and electrical fault finding, using three phase control systems
  • Fault finding and repairing hydraulic or pneumatic systems
  • Undertaking small installation projects
  • Optimizing machine efficiency through continuous improvement
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Supporting the operations team in achieving targets
  • Complying with health and safety policies and procedures
  • Contributing to cost-effective technical solutions
  • Participating in weekend call-out rota's
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Experience working in mechanical or electrical workshops, including breakdowns, repair, and fault diagnosis
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills, especially with PLC's, drives, and inverters
  • A strong understanding of engineering diagrams, HV/LV switchgear, and electrical drivers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A full clean driving license and access to a car
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £40-45k inc call outs, a rotating weekly shift, and a weekend standby 1-4 paid extra.
