Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, adhering to high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including food supplies and equipment.
- Support new starters in learning kitchen procedures and equipment operation.
- Monitor and maintain food temperatures, ensuring the quality and safety of our meals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless kitchen operations and resident satisfaction.
- NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to study for one.
- Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain high standards of food quality.
- Kind and considerate approach when interacting with residents and colleagues.
- Safeguarding training and ability to recognize signs of abuse or neglect.
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
- Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG.
