About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of clinical care expertise and leadership skills. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents, while also supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nursing support and advice to residents and colleagues
  • Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence
  • Supervise and coach colleagues to provide a high-quality service
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and ensure their implementation
  • Monitor and report on resident care and well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Pin number
  • Knowledge of National Standards and NMC code of practice
  • A background in person-centred care planning within a care home
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
