Antella Travel Recruitment is representing a prestigious luxury travel agency renowned for its exceptional offerings in high-end travel experiences across Latin America and the polar regions.
As a result of their growth, they are looking to hire a Lead Travel Consultant specializing in Latin America. The ideal candidate will possess extensive sales expertise and in-depth product knowledge of luxury travel options in countries such as Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, and Uruguay, as well as the polar regions including the Galapagos, Patagonia, The Arctic, and Antarctica.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in creating bespoke travel experiences, demonstrating a strong passion for the region, and managing bookings from initial inquiry to final documentation.
Antella Travel Recruitment is also open to candidates with tailored travel experience in other regions who have visited Latin America and are eager to focus their career in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Coordinating all travel arrangements for clients, including flights, private charters, accommodations, and more.
Required Experience:
- Previous sales experience in the travel sector, particularly with a luxury tour operator, complemented by extensive personal travel experience in Latin America.
- Strong sales acumen and exceptional customer service skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary up to £38,000, commensurate with experience.
- Performance-based commission structure with an OTE of £60,000.
- Annual leave starting at 23 days, increasing by one day for each year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days, plus 8 public holidays.
