Position Overview:
As a Versatile Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facilities. This position involves a combination of electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks aimed at enhancing the reliability of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of planned maintenance and repair tasks on both electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained in accordance with current regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Engineer to establish and refine maintenance schedules.
  • Work closely with the Site Services Manager to uphold legal compliance across all operations.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the Engineering team to guarantee thorough shift handovers.
  • Support the Divisional Engineering team in the integration of new machinery and upgrades to existing systems.
  • Conduct installation tasks, including modifications to current equipment and the setup of new machinery.
  • Review and assess completed installations and maintenance work for quality assurance.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess an HNC in engineering or an equivalent qualification. A solid background in working with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems is essential. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, including general, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, is required. A proactive attitude towards health and safety, along with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment, is expected.
