Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing competitive and carefully resourced tender costs and submitting prices and quality submissions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on competitive bids, negotiated contracts, and within frameworks
  • Providing accurate and analyzed tender costs and submitting prices and necessary quality submissions to clients
  • Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager and showing awareness of company targets
  • Aiming to better company targets with profitable successful bids
  • Assisting with budget prices
  • Studying tender documentation and information provided
  • Assessing the viability of tenders
  • Calculating the net costs of a tender from first principles
  • Ensuring that tenders are complete and submitted on time

Requirements:

  • HNC in Civil Engineering or similar discipline would be beneficial
  • Experience within a Civil Engineering company
  • Working knowledge of NEC conditions of contracts
  • Previous site experience would be beneficial
  • Civil Engineering-related degree or qualification
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Financial and pre-contract management experience
  • Full driving license
  • CSCS Card
