The Best Connection is seeking a skilled LGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team in Middlesbrough. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely operation of a Class 2 vehicle, observing site Health and Safety at all times, and working in a small team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Ensure site Health and Safety is maintained at all times
  • Work collaboratively with a small team
  • Perform manual handling tasks
  • Interact with the general public
  • Participate in on-going work with the option of turning permanent after a qualifying period
Requirements
  • LGV Class 2 Licence (valid and in date)
  • CPC and DIGI Card in date
  • Minimum 6 months HGV experience for insurance purposes
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: £20.29 per hour overtime (after 8 hours per shift) and £14.49 per hour basic rate (first 8 hours per shift)
  • Accrued holiday pay - paid time off
  • Monday to Friday start times approximately 06.00am
