EMR, a specialist in marketing recruitment, is seeking a part-time Marketing and Sales Manager to support our client, a leading consultancy, during a 9-month maternity cover fixed term contract. The consultancy specializes in Investor Relations and works with highly regarded brands across the UK and Europe to communicate their value and access investors.
Purpose of the Role
As a Marketing and Sales Manager, you will work closely with the company's Directors to deliver on the sales and marketing strategy. Your primary objective will be to support the company's growth and expansion by developing and implementing effective marketing and sales plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.
- Event Management: Coordinate and manage industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase the company's expertise and build relationships with potential clients.
- Content Creation: Create high-quality, engaging content across various platforms, including blog posts, social media, and email newsletters, to educate and inform the target audience.
- Sales Support: Provide sales support by identifying and qualifying potential leads, and ensuring that all leads and actions are recorded and followed up on in a timely manner.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Manage and maintain the company's CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contact and organizational data.
- Pitch and Proposal Support: Assist in the development of pitch materials, proposals, and pitchbooks to support the sales team in winning new business.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: Background working in an agency or advisory firm is preferred.
- IT Skills/Knowledge: Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and social media platforms is essential.
- Copywriting: Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
- Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Confidence and authority to lead meetings, and hold senior stakeholders to account.
