About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Driver Mate in Farnborough. As a key member of our Store to Home team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises on a multidrop basis, with an average of 16 drops per day off-peak and 24 drops per day in peak season.
  • Assist the delivery driver in parking and manoeuvring a company vehicle, as well as loading and unloading of vehicles as and when required.
  • Provide effective customer service, ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition and customers are kept informed of their estimated time of delivery.

Requirements
  • Experience of dealing with multi-drop home delivery preferred but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to complete manual handling tasks such as pulling, lifting, and pushing
  • Can do attitude with a knack for problem solving
  • Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
  • Be prepared to commute to Farnborough (GU14 7ST) for the required shift pattern
