About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Support Worker to join our team at one of our 24-hour supported living services in Stanwix, Carlisle. The successful candidate will provide positive support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs, enabling them to participate in community activities and develop their independence and self-esteem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to service users to enable them to participate in community activities
  • Develop and implement personal support plans to address individual needs and promote independence
  • Liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies, advocates, and family members to ensure comprehensive support
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a responsive and flexible support service
Requirements
  • Essential experience of working in a support role with adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs
  • Ability to work flexible shifts on a relief basis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide a responsive support service
