SMT Assembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced SMT Operator to join our client in Tredegar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining SMT equipment, ensuring the efficient production of electronic assemblies.
Main Responsibilities:- Set up and run SMT machines, including automatic screen printers and in-line equipment, to meet production targets.
- Change components during the production cycle using appropriate tools.
- Perform accurate and efficient offline setups.
- Read and follow manufacturing documentation.
- Conduct quality checks in accordance with SMT assembly standards, preferably with IPC knowledge.
- Identify discrepancies, rectify within the scope of the role, and report to the SMT team leader.
- Complete production build documentation in line with ISO9001 quality procedures.
- Perform basic weekly machine maintenance.
- Undertake other tasks as assigned, in line with company requirements.
