We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Purovets in the beautiful Scottish Borders.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established and successful mixed animal practice, providing high-quality care to a diverse range of animals. As a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, working closely with our experienced team to provide a comprehensive range of services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex surgical procedures on small, large, and equine animals
- Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with our veterinary nurses and support staff
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare
- Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
Our practice is a purpose-built, RCVS accredited facility, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including multiparameter monitoring, ultrasound, x-ray, and a fully equipped operating theatre. We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and opportunities for career progression.
What We Offer- Competitive salary, £40,000 - £55,000 DOE
