About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the practice, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient experience, and playing a key role in the operational management of Health & Safety, Practice Performance, and Budgetary controls.
Key Responsibilities- Take a proactive approach to patient feedback and act upon suggestions for improvement
- Maintain practice cleanliness standards and manage internal cleaning rotas
- Maximize the practice appointment book to effectively manage Associate time with patients
- Ensure efficient management and timely replenishment of stock
- Deliver practice budget and associated key Performance indicators (KPIs) and overall practice profitability
- Undertake Reception duties when required
- Ensure that all cross-infection procedures are carried out in compliance with Cross infection, Decontamination, and Health & Safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with practice team members to promote a supportive working culture
- Support individual performance by regular one-to-ones and provide training and support to colleagues when required
- Must have relevant experience in a general practice environment
- Experience working in a people management role is essential
- Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care
- The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills
- Demonstrable skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel) would be advantageous
