Clinical Director for Adult Mental Health Services

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of occupational therapists in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Clinical Director for Adult Mental Health Services, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to patients and their families.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and direction to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
- Manage and supervise a team of occupational therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of service improvement plans.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A clinical qualification in occupational therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Evidence of further education or continuous professional development.
- Leadership/management training.
- Experience of working in a mental health setting.
- Experience of leading and managing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The following criteria would be desirable:
- Experience of managing a budget.
- Experience of working in a leadership or management role.
- Experience of developing and implementing clinical strategies.
- Experience of collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
The post holder will be responsible for managing a budget and ensuring the effective use of resources to deliver high-quality services.
