Job Summary

ThinkWorkforce is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team as an Out of Hours Clinician. This role requires a high level of autonomy and independence, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality minor injury and illness services to patients attending UTC
  • Work independently and autonomously, with support from a team of Nurses and GPs
  • Lead and manage a team of band six and student Emergency Nurse Practitioners
  • Assist in the supervision, development, and management of team members
  • Work a variety of shift times, including weekends, evenings, and overnights
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage self and others effectively
  • Proficiency as an experienced ENP within the speciality of minor injury and illness management
  • Knowledge of Adastra and ability to complete training
  • Valid driver's license (for mobile shifts)
  • Ability to consult patients of all ages, including paediatrics
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g. V300 Prescriber, Minor Injury Level 7, Minor Illness Level 7, DBS, ID, Immunisations, Up to date mandatory training)
Desirable Skills
  • Evidence of X-Ray Competencies
  • Experience in suturing
  • Palliative Care Experience
  • Catheter skills/certificate (male and female)
