Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Fruit and Vegetable Specialist. As a key member of our supermarket team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of stock management, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on food and drink trends, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible advice and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the efficient management of stock, including receiving, storing, and replenishing products in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our store operations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service, product knowledge, and store appearance.
