About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our gynaecological oncology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with gynaecological cancers, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including junior doctors, nurses, and other support staff, to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of our gynaecological oncology services, including the development of new treatments and therapies.
  • Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including the supervision of junior doctors and medical students.
  • Contribute to the development of our research program, including the design and implementation of clinical trials and studies.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with inclusion on the Specialist Register of GMC or eligible for award of CCT in Gynaecology Oncology within 6 months of interview.
  • MRCOG or equivalent qualification.
  • Appropriate levels of skills and abilities expected from a properly trained consultant in gynaecological oncology.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of up-to-date gynaecological oncology.
