Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and increasing revenue in the London and South-East region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Existing Customers:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase their average spend per month.
- Identify new areas of growth with current customers, such as additional product areas or services.
- Initial aim to increase spend of regular customers by 10%.
- Re-establish relationships with lapsed customers who have bought previously.
- Increase the number of active customers.
- New Customers:
- Undertake regular visits to new customers who have never dealt with us previously.
- Establish a line of communication and build relationships to encourage potential quotes and orders.
- Identify new business sectors currently underrepresented.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage own workload to achieve deadlines.
- Highly IT literate, especially in Excel.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a sales role.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a field sales role.
- Negotiation prowess and excellent problem-solving and analytical ability.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous knowledge of the lighting industry is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
- Knowledge and use of CRM systems and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Ability to prioritize a heavy workload and lead and motivate the team.
Working Hours: Normally 8.30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
