Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant - SEN

We are working closely with a school in Glossop who are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join their internal Special Educational Needs unit. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to make a positive impact on student lives and be committed to providing high-quality support to children in Year 1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Help students with their academic and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to working within a new environment
