We are seeking an experienced and qualified Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at Chadwick Lodge in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to our service users, including assessment, intervention, and supervision.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in forensic psychology, with experience working with clients with complex needs and a history of offending behavior. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans, and to contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Hold a caseload of clinical work, including individual and group psychological assessment and intervention
- Offer specialist clinical advice, including assessment of care needs and development of programs of care
- Attend relevant meetings to contribute to clinical care and service user progressions
- Take a lead in collaborative risk assessment and management for individual patients
- Supervise junior members of the department, including Psychologists in Training and Assistant Psychologists
- Hold a BPS-recognised psychology degree
- Be HCPC registered
- Have Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications
- Be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division
- Have experience of applying psychological knowledge to a forensic/clinical setting
- Have previous experience of conducting research and project working
