Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Operative - Property Care Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative to join our team at Homely Housing Lets. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties in the South East London area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, painting, and carpentry
  • Conduct thorough property inspections to identify and report any maintenance issues
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to a high standard, ensuring properties are safe and habitable for tenants
  • Work effectively with tenants, colleagues, and other stakeholders to resolve maintenance issues and provide excellent customer service
  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license and ability to drive company vehicles
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, painting, and carpentry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic

Working Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Salary:

£1,690.00 - £1,971.67 per month
