Position Overview

We are looking for Customer Service Apprentices to join our Retail Customer Services Operations team, offering a starting salary of £22,050. Initial training will be conducted in the office, transitioning to a hybrid work model post-training, allowing for a combination of remote and office work. The role involves a 35-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with part-time options available.
The L&G Customer Service Apprenticeship Program is tailored to help you achieve your potential, whether you are a recent graduate or considering a career transition. Over the course of 15 to 18 months, you will enhance your knowledge, skills, and behaviors while gaining valuable experience and completing a fully funded professional qualification: Level 2 Apprenticeship in Providing Financial Services. Each month, you will dedicate a workday to focus on your studies and personal growth.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and demonstration of L&G values, you will be eligible for a promotion and salary increase.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage regularly with colleagues and customers, performing a variety of tasks. This hybrid role will include administrative duties and customer interactions via phone.
- Manage all correspondence from internal and external customers, ensuring they are informed about progress and next steps.
- Maintain scheme data, administering and updating individual customer and client records.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and efficiently.
- Applicants must be 16 years or older and reside in Wales. A degree qualification in any subject is not permitted.
- No prior industry experience is required; we seek individuals with a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
- Comprehensive induction training will be provided to equip you with the necessary tools to assist our customers and clients.

- Strong communication and administrative skills, along with a passion for supporting customers in various circumstances, are essential.
- Confidence in using desktop or laptop computers and proficiency in MS Office is required.
