Kitchen Support Assistant

To provide high-quality kitchen support through the completion of cleaning tasks, organisation of stock, and general maintenance of kitchen hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all cutlery, crockery, and kitchen utensils are washed and clean.
- Assist the Chef in maintaining a clean and sanitised kitchen environment.
- Sweep and mop the floors to maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Assist the team in receiving goods, rotating stock, and disposing of out-of-date items.
- Document product temperatures and maintain cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Ensure the pot wash is cleaned regularly and dirty aprons, towels, etc. are taken to the laundry room for washing.
- Take out the garbage/recycling from the kitchen and ensure all sinks and blue roll dispensers are fully stocked.
- Follow the cleaning rota and ensure all tasks are completed.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Schoen Clinic Newbridge Policy.
- Operate within your level of professional competency and maintain professional boundaries with colleagues and patients.
- Ensure appropriate systems of communication and participate in the Schoen Clinic Newbridge appraisal process.
- Attend mandatory and associated professional training and be responsible for your own professional development.
- Be familiar with and follow Health and Safety policy and procedures and be aware of individual responsibilities under legislation.
- Be responsible for reading, understanding, and complying with all relevant Schoen Clinic Newbridge and statutory policies and procedures.
- Manage your workload and time effectively using the procedures provided.
- Communicate with patients in line with Schoen Clinic Newbridge guidelines on confidentiality.
- Limit information provided to patients in relation to the meal plan and avoid discussing ingredients, portion size, dietary dislikes, diet changes, or cooking methods.
