About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Handler to join our team at GB Global. As a Senior Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of public and employers' liability claims for local government clients.

Your primary focus will be on handling claims from first notification to settlement, making decisions on liability, fraud, and quantum, and overseeing cases through to litigation. You will also be responsible for liaising with clients, brokers, suppliers, claimants, and their representatives using multiple means of communication.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a good understanding of proactive claims handling and insurance principles. You will have experience of handling public and employers' liability claims up to a value of £25,000 without referral and be confident in progressing to handling claims exceeding £25,000 under authority.

You will be working in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with opportunities for career development and growth.
