Job Title: Instrumentation Pipefitter

HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy and Aerospace sectors. We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Pipefitter to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and installing small bore tubing installations and systems, which may be offshore or from their workshop. This is a permanent position with a reputable client in the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interpret engineering drawings, both hydraulic and pneumatic, to a very high standard.
  • Have good knowledge of hydraulic instrument fittings/threads.
  • Be experienced in the selection and erection of hydraulic and pneumatic instruments and components.
  • Be experienced with small bore tubing pressure ratings and assembly.
  • Be experienced with fixed hose assemblies.
  • Create detailed service reports, maintain accurate records, complete all paperwork, test procedures, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to a very high standard.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Experience working offshore with relevant certificates.
  • Time served pipe fitter with instrumentation experience.
  • Relevant pipe fitting qualifications and certifications.
