About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team at London Stansted Airport. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable service to passengers, tenants, and other customers through effective and efficient maintenance and repair of airport assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake planned or reactive maintenance work.
  • Carry out tasks requiring technical competence in Electrical/Electronic and/or Systems engineering.
  • Use prevailing IT and work management systems.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Engage proactively in performance improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proactively upgrade skills to facilitate the maintenance and operation of new assets.

Requirements

  • NVQ3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • ONC/HNC Electrical/Electronic/Systems Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in Complex system fault-finding, maintenance, and repair of Electrical/Electronic control systems and equipment.
  • Full and assessed knowledge of any relevant National or MAG regulations and standards.
  • Completion of relevant & related skills training to become a Competent Airport technician.
  • Meets the requirements of the competence assessment process (Blue Book).
