Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Infrastructure Manager to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our digital strategy, you will play a crucial role in managing the support, maintenance, and development of our systems, platforms, and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage vendors and technical specialists to provide proactive and reactive technical support for our information systems infrastructure on premise and in the cloud.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, including 'Fix on Fail', management of change requests, support requests, proactive performance monitoring, and management.
  • Manage platforms for business services and application services.
  • Deliver small-scale development projects according to Bupa's project methodology, ensuring they are completed to agreed specifications, timescales, and budgets.
  • Manage service providers and contract resources necessary to provide platforms and services.

Requirements

  • A detailed understanding and practical knowledge of the provision of platforms and services.
  • The ability to provide thought leadership with regards to the provision of platforms and services.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets of > £1m and financial planning activities.
  • A wide knowledge of how the marketplace is developing platforms and services.
  • Practical involvement in all stages of the delivery lifecycle, from feasibility through to support.
