About the Role

The Very Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis professional to join our Group Planning, Analysis & Reporting Finance Team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely cash flow forecasts, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to relevant and reliable information.
  • Collaborate with the Treasury team to facilitate effective short-term decision-making, ensuring that opportunities and risks to the cash flow forecast are identified and addressed.
  • Build and maintain reconciliations across the business to scrutinize and reduce variability between data sources.
  • Implement governance and control frameworks to ensure that group planning processes are accurate and transparent.
  • Assess the strength and quality of information provided to the team, directing focus to matters that require most attention.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in planning tools and propose solutions that fully utilize existing tools (Hyperion and Excel).
  • Work cross-functionally to develop a roadmap for migrating to an Oracle EPM solution.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable organizational skills and experience in managing complex financial processes.
  • Commercially focused, with attention to accounting detail and end-to-end value.
  • Proven successes in developing insightful reporting and analysis for major decision-making at Exec and Board level.
  • Technical ability, strong aptitude for analytical work, preferably with experience in Hyperion/Oracle EPM products.
  • Sound understanding of all primary financial statements.
