Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Accounts Payable team at Northern Powergrid. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing to our suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to ensure payments are made in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they adhere to payment standards and controls.
  • Oversee the processing of specialized payments, including Retentions, Construction Industry Scheme payments, and Manual Data Entry payments.
  • Plan and deliver training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and implementing changes to processes and controls.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Work unsupervised and be self-starting in all BAU tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or higher, or equivalent, including Mathematics and English language.
  • Minimum of three years' experience using Oracle CFS E-Business.
  • Excellent organizational skills and use of Office and Teams.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
